ms. tang tang

The Ms. Tang Tang show is a stage performance whose format follows a live variety and talk show structure.  I was invited to participate along with several other performers as a part of the 2011 National Queer Arts Festival at the African American Cultural Center in San Francisco.  Luckily I was the first act on stage, and was left free to shoot some pictures of the rest of the performers.  Didn’t move around much, or actually at all.  All the images were shot from my front row seat, where I was happily inspired by the people on stage.  These are just a few of the performers, and a common thread is all of them have participated in the Visibility Project.
